This is the newest part of my Lake Series, a group of painting that I have been working on this summer. I spend a lot of time in the summer traveling the Great Lakes and have really enjoyed creating these new works on paper. Creek Series

Creek Series...For about 5 years or so I worked on plein air studies of the Creek near my house. None of these paintings have ever been shown and to be honest I forgot to put them up on the blog. Recently I have revisited some of them and still like the way they turned out. I am especially interested in the tonal quality of the reeds and water on grey fall and spring days.
